Custom Logos and Labels (yes, type right on the photo) – a Lightroom Tutorial

Custom Logos and Labels in Lightroom Tutorial - 920x400
By now you have probably figured out how Lightroom will slap your logo on everything you export, with few options.

But, this Lightroom Tutorial will show you that you have more options in the Lightroom Print Module!  Now, it is not going to happen in a batch export, but if you want to customize your logo on separate photos, read on for a quick tutorial.

When you have your photos in your filmstrip, just click over to the Print Module.  The Print Module allows for a logo upload through the Identity Plate in the left column, under Page.  You can type in the identity plate or upload a .png logo.  You may then place the logo WHEREVER you want!  Yes!  And, you can also size it and lower the opacity.

Here are a few samples. Below is an example of a full screen logo over the image with low opacity.

Next up, this is just your basic logo placed wherever and the opacity is lowered from black to a gray.

Last, one of the really awesome things you can do is just type a Label on your photo!  We love doing this for events or captions or all kinds of ideas!  You can pick from any font in your computer.  The only thing to remember here is that the Identity Plate is limited to one line of text.  You cannot type a paragraph or even two lines.  Here is an event example:

Hope you will have fun with this!
